[Restaurant] - Theme Restaurant - Ben Ten Cafe

Omo.. i'm so late in putting this up..

On a nice sunny afternoon, i was out shopping with Juan for materials needed for my Makeup class..

We were actually suppose to wake up early in the morning to take a stroll at the reservoir as planned the night before..
but as usual, i failed doing so despite Juan's effort calling me on my handphone and home number for at least 30mins..

Mianae 爱人.. keke..

But being very nice as she is, she still accompanied me to do the shopping in the afternoon..
Komawoyo *muack*muack*

As said earlier, that is a sunny afternoon, or rather a super hot sunny day..
We were doing our shopping at the bugis village then..
and after walking round up and down for quite awhile, we were both super tired and hot..

So we decided that we shall find some place to sit down and have some ICE CREAM!!!
Yay! don't you agree that ice creams are great for super hot weather, no??

But but, we have no idea where we should have it..
and so, we thought we shall just check out the new shopping mall just besides the Bugis Village..
the next minute, we found ourselves at the iluma Bugis..

Just as we reached there, something striking caught our eyes..

*rub eyes* look again

ice cream.. or rather.. parfait wor...
so BIG size somemore

Looking up at the cafe name, it reads - BEN TEN cafe..
Interesting..

BEN TEN cafe

I've noticed that we do not have many theme restaurants in Singapore..

and to be true, i've only heard that Ben Ten is some cartoon which is much popular among the kids recently but have really no idea what is it about.. about some ailens is the most i heard of it..

nevertheless, we were both tired already and the parfaits looks nice, we walked into the cafe..

To our surprise, we were greet by friendly smiling staffs... *grins*

Woah, first impression not bad wor.. *grins again*
2pax please, and we were shown to our seats..

menu

ice water served *cool*

*sparkling* cutlery

Orders made..
Juan ordered a Sour Plum Juice and a Choco Parfait with choco ice cream puffs..
I've ordered a Mini Katsu Don and a Choco Parfait with choco pudding for myself..
Yes, we both loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee Chocolate to the power of infinity ^.^

our orders

While waiting for our orders, i took some pics of the surroundings.

they've got outdoor seats.. with high chairs wor..
so got *feel*

nice feel of the restaurant created
by the high ceiling lamps

nice colour combi ^.^

the bar where drinks and ice creams
are prepared at *i think*

cool Sour Plum Juice
Juan's orders were served.. since she's not having any main course, we've asked them to serve her the ice cream together as well.. hee.. can't wait to dig ourselves into those sinful stuffs... *evil grins*

*Yay*

~ Giant ~

~ Closer shoot of Giant ~

Next my Mini Katsu Don is served.. and it don't look a twee bit "mini" at all..
Prove? See for yourselves..

my so called *Mini Katsu Don*

one more pic of *my sin* ^.^
Ok, got to admit that this bowl of katsu looks really mini when compare with the "Giant" glass of parfait..

*compare*compare*

*compare*compare*compare*
but when it's compared to the glass of juice, it does look big right, no?
let me tell you, this bowl of goodness is really super duper filling ok..

it's time to tuck in!!!

*add some chilli flakes*
Actually i requested for the chilli powder but was given this chilli flakes instead..
hmm.. i never really like these kind of chilli flakes as there are also chilli seeds in the mixture..
however since i was already given it, i just add some into the rice and start dugging in.. ^.^

*Goodness Gone*
Yummy!
The katsu wasn't fatty/ oily at all and was fried to a nice golden crisp..
the eggs on top is lovesssss ^.^
as said, the portion is big and can really filled up an empty tummy..
i'm not a person who will waste food, but see, i couldn't even finish the rice..
i was literally full up to my throat..
ermm, ok, i'm left with only a little bit of space.. for my ICE CREAM PARFAIT!!! *Yay*
after awhile, my ice cream is being served..

*Omo* another Giant

this is my *GIANT PARFAIT*

Omo! I spotted my Choco pudding!!! ^.^
Just as i thought that the white cream stuffs below the choco ice cream ball are some fresh cream, it surprised me that it's actually soft vanilla ice cream in disguised.. *Yay*
The choco ice cream and pudding are so so nice.. so full of chocy taste.. Me likes!
Yummy! Yummy!

i like the *feel* of the choco love letter
sticking out of the vanilla soft ice cream ^.^

cornflakes dug out from the bottom of the parfait

* working hard* till the end
*Slurps*Slurps*
and i finished up the whole glass.. keke
actually the glasses of parfaits which Juan and i ordered are enough for one pax to have..
if you are there with a few friends, you might want to try out their really *GIGANTIC* parfait..
it can served four to six pax i think.. refer to the first pic i posted above..
it's called the Anbiry Baburu Sundae.. go! go! take up the challenge and be a fighter.. *grins*
see if you can finish the whole bucket of ice cream.. keke..
Juan, next time we gather horses and try out k! *looking forward.. rubbing my palms with enthu*
My after feel...
There's really not much theme restaurant in Singapore and i felt that we really need to give support to those that really puts in effort to make good food for us..
and other than good food, friendly staffs are really important to make an eating place comfortable..
Ben Ten cafe is one of those..
it's only when some theme restaurants / cafes really gets popular among the eaters then we will be able to have more different theme eateries in Singapore...
Let's make our makan places more interesting!!!
Do make a trip and try out their menus ya.. they are located at..
*jot down*jot down*
Curious at what else they are serving in their menu?
hee..

*woah*woah*woah*

Quench your hunger with this pic first ba..
Make your way there next.. ^.^
*i'm so gonna try out their pizzas the next time i go there*
